Deploying webtop on tomcat

Hi Experts,

Can anyone please guide me with deploying webtop on tomcat using the webtop,war file???

I already tried doing this but after hitting the url : http://localhost:8080/webtop/

It gives me an error :

HTTP Status 404 -

type Status report

message

description The requested resource () is not available.

Please suggest....

look at the tomcat logs, there must be error while deplpying webtop.war and hence the application is not deployed and accessible.

i am assuming you must have updates dfc.properties in deployed war file.

Look at the Tomcat startup logs. Any [webtop/wdk/dctm] errors there? If yes, please post

Is your tomcat up and running?

see what is written in sdtout.log...

The war file was not deployed correctly and thats why it was giving error.

I deleted the webtop folder along with work/catalina and temp folders. And then deployed it again.

It was successfull but i got a tagpooling error.

I have modified the tomcat web.xml as follows :

<servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name>

<servlet-class>org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet</servlet-class>

<init-param>

<param-name>fork</param-name>

<param-value>false</param-value>

</init-param>

<init-param>

<param-name>enablePooling</param-name>

<param-name>xpoweredBy</param-name>

<param-value>false</param-value>

<load-on-startup>3</load-on-startup>

</servlet>

Still getting the same error.

The problem got solved.

Deleted the folders(Catalina and temp) and restarted Tomcat.

It is working now.
