DA&Webtop are very slow with default gateway

Hello,

    In our environment when we specify a default gateway for the server, documentum becomes very slow. It takes several minutes to log in to Documentum Administrator.When I remove the default gateway and leave it blank everything works properly.Could you let me know what can be the cause of that issue?And what can we to to solve the problem?

As per definition, connectivity through default gateway would be (comparitively) slower. I am guessing that's the expected behavior.

A default gateway is the node on the computer network that the network software uses when an IP address does not match any other routes in the routing table.
