displaying requiredList in NewProfileDlg

I am trying to set the required list for a NewProfileDlg so that the Type is mandatory before creating a document (which should display an exclamation mark next to the field). I've tried a few different ways (as shown below), yet I can't get it to become mandatory. Am i setting this required list wrong?


IManage.imProfileAttributeID [] arrRequiredList = new IManage.imProfileAttributeID[1];
arrRequiredList[0] = IManage.imProfileAttributeID.imProfileType;
this.RequiredList = arrRequiredList;


IManage.AttributeID [] arrRequiredList = new IManage.AttributeID[1];
arrRequiredList[0] = IManage.AttributeID.nrType;
this.RequiredList = arrRequiredList;


ArrayList reqList = new ArrayList();
reqList.Add(IManage.imProfileAttributeID.imProfileType);
this.RequiredList = (IManage.imProfileAttributeID[]) reqList.ToArray(typeof (IManage.imProfileAttributeID));

i got the help i needed! it should be set on the oninitdialog event...
