Hello All,
I got a requirement to Migrating Content from 5.6 to 6.5. So, can any one please help me what are all the steps involved in that?
Thanks in Advance,
Badam.
Hi ,
You can migrate the content from 5.3 to 6.5 using third party vendor Bulldozer tool.
While migrating from older version to newer versions please consider below points.
Thanks,
Rama
Hi Rama,
Thanks for reply. Is there any other way to migrate instead of using tools?
Here are few ways but which are not feasible.

I have attached above migration document for 6.5. Please refer tht if it helps you to proceed further.
There is a document here on the EDN that discusses many different apporaches to content migration. It might be helpful.

In addition to commercial migration tools like Bulldozer, OpenMigrate is an open source migration framework that is freely available. You can read more about it here: http://www.tsgrp.com/Open_Source/OpenMigrate/open-migrate.jsp
My company, Technology Services Group, offers OpenMigrate at no cost to the ECM community. Many folks have taken it and used it on their own, either out-of-the-box or by adding their own customizations. We also use it for our own clients' complex migrations, which often involve detailed configuration and/or customizations.
In addition to Documentum, OpenMigrate supports other ECM technologies like Alfresco and SharePoint; and via JDBC it can pull content and data from almost any other type of ECM or database-based system.
