Email Inbound attachment mapping error

Hi friends,

I have created "Email Inbound Initiate" activity with these settings:

Preferred MIME Type: text/plain

Message mapping:

The problem is:

It is not mapping the attachment[0]. So it creates a pachage with an empty file.

I am using mail client Outlook Express 6 and mail server James SMTP Server 2.3.1

What object type have you defined zip package to be? Also, what value have you specified for format?

Hi Johnny,

I have defined a subtype of dm_document.

I have specified zip for format.

I am using Documentum 6.7 sp1.

It creates the object with the correct type and format(zip file), but without content and without object_name.

As you can see the log, the problem is that the attachment is not contained in the field <Attachments>.

I opened the file C:\Documents and Settings\dmadmin\message_files\a4f2546e-c4b2-44a9-844d-97ee6c1d40bb.dat and there is the e-mail message and there is the attachment in this .dat file.

I think the correct behavior is the attachment contained in Attachments tag.

Is there any configuration to change?

Got it. What I have done in the past is to map the email attachments (left side) with package attachments (right side) in this activity. In a subsequent Link to Folder activity, I moved the attachments to case folder. Once you have the attachments linked to external object, you should be able to map it back to package.

I have changed the classpath of the machine and it worked.

I think it was using an incorrect version of some .jar or .class to do the e-mail mapping.
