need to vallidate the old password in change password component

i have moved the change password functionality to tools menu in webtop.configured same as change password component in webtop and its working fine.

But when user enters wrong password while changing password , it shows authentication failed exception.

in such scenario i want to put my own custum message without displaying the error message

how can i implement that?
