Hi Experts,
Please any body tell me what is Documentum Xplore. It is a saperate product or it will come along with hte contentserver.
Now i am using Documentum 6.5v so i need to implement Xplore.
Refer this: https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-8945
Documentum xPlore is a no-charge feature of the Content Server component of the Documentum Platform. It is not a separate product.
Documentum xPlore will be supported on Documentum 6.5SP2 and above. Documentum 6.7 will be released with xPlore as the primary search function. So, for 6.5SP2, you need to implement.

now we are using FAST with CS6.5 v, we need to migrate to Xplore. So for this is ther any saperate installation file for that or not.
Yes. It should be in the download directory for CS 6.5SP2.
if we implement Xplore then we first need to remove FAST or else we can install directly Xplore.
You can have both running at the same time. But, xplore would need its own index storage space as well as its own webtop or whatever client you are using.
Own webtop in the sense we need to deploy another webtop application for Xplore?
Yes. One webtop cannot use both FAST and xPlore search engines simultaneously. If you dont want to run both of them at the same time, you can redeploy webtop pointing to xPlore and just leave FAST alone until you are comfortable with xPlore.
is ther any configurations we need to do in webtop to work with perticulerly Xplore or FAST .
Its in the xPlore installation guide.
