Hi, I am required to extract value of a custom attribute of the attached document in a workflow and pass on to notification email when the email arrives a performer's inbox. How can do this using * Process Builder (email template) * Workflow manager (in dm_event_sender) I think I need to query docbase using 'package_id', but I do not know how can I do this in Process Builder email template. You can run DQL read activity to run your query and assign the results to process variable. You then can reference the process variable in your email template.

I can get Doc ID using:

<dmp:foreach collection="doc">

<dmp:row>doc.id</dmp:row>

<dmp:row>doc.name</dmp:row>

</dmp:foreach>

But in this XML email template how and where can I insert the DQL Read activity? I need to figure it out.

"DQL Read activity" - this doesnt go into your template, it goes into your workflow.
