Unable to open/edit/export documents

Hi,

I am having my development environement setup along with content server and records manager client.

I am able to create new documents and checkin existing documents.

But i am not able to view/edit/export/check out the documents.

Its not even giving me any errors and stops after 66% of content transfer.

Please guide me how can i resolve this.

Its urgent as am not able to procee without this.

Make sure you are using the specified JRE that is listed in the release notes for RM client version.

Is this is first time you are exporting the Content.

Check that you are using JRE 1.6_27 on your machine if you rae using 6.5 version or higher.

Also delete the C:\Document and setting\ur name\Documentum folder and then try again.

I have tried this problem and still facing it in webtop 6.5 OOTB too.

As per my investigation till now, I have noticed certain points:

1) it is the problem from content server side, as I have tried with da, webtop, rms etc but no luck yet.

2) If I use api for checkout and getfile, I can successfully retrieve file.

3) I have one environment(prod) where this functionality is working fine.

4) Webtop hangs at point when we have "Transferring content <file name>" status on progress page.

5) In user-session logs I get

Do this problem have to do anything in this matter?

try clearing your java cache, by going through the control panel I think its on the general tab and then try again.

Can you check the below note? It may help you for further diagnose..

Try setting gethostbyaddr = F in the server.ini file and clean all the cache and restart the env.
