Easiest method: Delete (or rename) the old workarea and [re-]create a new workarea with the proper attributes.

If you rename - (or choose to use a new name for the new workarea) and do a Get Latest in the new workarea - you should be able to do a comparisson between the two workareas to get the new workarea to the same state (with regard to modified files) as the old workarea.
