How can I get the value assistance dropdown list in Advanced search?

Hi,

I set an attribute as read-only by checking the checkbox "Attribute is read-only" in Composer.

For this attribute I added Value assistance using Composer Value Mapping as follows:

Attribute Value     Display String          Description

In Process             In Process

Approved               Approved

Rejected                Rejected

I could change the value of the attribute in my workflow using Process Data Mapping activity (of Process Builder), but I the dropdown list is not shown up in my custom advanced search screen for that attribute. Do you think I will not get the list there in Advanced search?

How can I get the value assistance dropdown list in Advanced search?

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

If you made the attribute read-only, I believe Search Component will adhere to your data dictionary definition of attribute and will not make it dropdown (since its read-only).  You might have to customize the advance search component.  There is entire manual dedicated to Search development - it should be in the same download directory as Content Server.
