In a workflow template how can I get a copy of an activity with the same name as the original activi

Hi,

In my workflow I am required to use a copy of an activity to forward the task to the same activity, but workflow is not being validated if I use the same name. If I change the name slightly by a '-' or space or '_', it looks fine for me, but our business users are very picky and they want to see the same exact name. How can I achieve this one?

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

The name of the activity (what you see at the top of activity inspector) must be unique in process builder, however, if you want to control what the user sees in their inbox, you can use the “Task Name” (on the properties tab) and put whatever you want there. That can be the same and that is the task name that will show up in their inbox. However, when you look at it via workflow reporting, it will show the name at the top. The average user only uses the inbox anyway, so usually that is no big deal.

Athati, a lot of your questions would be answered if you took took the EMC training, went thru the tutorials, etc. You have a high volume of questions, some of them would not be answered in training, and are just experience related, but many of them would be answered if you had formal training. I am not discouraging your from using the forums (please continue), just suggesting that you back it up with some formal training too. Take care –Kyle
