deleting Search/temp contents

Hi, our server is expeirencing a very high disk usage and we have narrowed it down to the fact that the /opt/iw-home/Search/temp/content directory is growing very large almost up to 300 megs. Is it safe to delete the contents or a part of it?

Hi,

my Search/temp directory is only filled up with files if my indexer is running,
especially if you restart the TS indexer service (yes, I'm on win, not unix)
If you delete the files in your temp directory, the indexer can't index them and you get some errors...

You should clarify, why the indexer takes so long to index all your content.
Check, if there're some problems in your index logs.
Perhaps you could stop the indexer, clear all the temp directories and restart indexer after that.
Additionally you can delete your search index and index your content again...
