Raju.P
Have you applied the latest patches for 6.6?
Hi Johnny Gee,
Thanks For your replay. just i have not applied any patches to PRS. if that is the problem where i will get that patches and how i need to apply that patches.
On Powerlink to Download center you will find the correct patches.
Is your problem fixed now ?
Hi Julien,
I have not resloved the problem. do u have any idea about this. please share with me.
can you post the snapshot of the error? try clearing the dfc cache in the PC and start everything fresh.
was it the xcp developer edition you installed? if not, again, check if the versions are same.
Do you already pass the patch Johnny asked ?
Thanks for your replay. i placed that patch. But no use. To Login on to PRS do we need to change any dfc.properties file.
Raju.p
Yes, of course you have a dfc.properties file for PRS. Please post a screenshot of the login page and the message that is displayed.
Thanks for your replay. Please find the screen shot.
Ok... This a proble with your dfc.properties. Do you locate it ?
where to locate this dfc.properties file
Must be in your PRS installation path, in a configuration folder ?
Thanks for your replay. just its working fine. but am getting one more error message like in screen shot.
Hi Raju,
Firstly, the set up for TaskSpace, BAM and PRS is very tricky in nature and they need to have the same versions running in order to work perfectly. The error you have attached is coming because your BAM and PRS are of different versions. You need to match their versions along with version of TaskSpace. If the TaskSpace version is different than BAM and PRS, your report Dashboard will not work perfectly.
Secondly, about your first issue of login to PRS. The login prompt for PRS has a 'Connect' button which points to your BAM installation on Tomcat or any other application server. You need to update the URL to get the repositories list to login. It uses dfc.properties of BAM installation to get repositories list.

What's the version of PRS And Bam ?
Hi Julien and Amit,
Thanks for your reply But my PRS and Bam versions are 6.6 only.
Can you please let us know the version of your TaskSpace, Tomcat as well? I was facing issue in implementation as my TaskSpace, BAM and PRS versions were mismatch.
Have u tried below steps:
1) run create_db_objects_oracle.bat - creates tables in oracle db
2) run create_repo_objects.bat - creates objects in docbase
3) install bam-server.war in webapps in Tomcat.
4) Update jdbc-config.xml, dfc-config.xml files in bam-server as per guide.
4) Fire http://<server>:<port>/bam-server to check the successful app installatio in Tomcat
5) Update URL in PRS connect to point to BAM installation
Thanks,
Can you post the solution we are facing the same problem.
found the solution check the BAM database there is a table dbo.version
if there is no data there then you got the version error.
solution is :rerun the script and restart the BAM server
I think the error is pretty self explanatory. Did you check what is your BAM server version.
