MyDocumentum for Desktop error

Hi friends,

I have deployed MyDocumentum for Desktop 6.7 sp1 using Oracle Weblogic as Web App Server.

When I try to use MyDocumentum from a Windows client machine it tries to find this DFS service URL: http://eurinome:40010/services/core/QueryService

How can I change MyDocumentum for Desktop configuration to point to the correct DFS location?

I don't think that it only works if I deploy DFS as a ROOT web application, but if it is a requirement, how can I do it using Oracle Weblogic?

If you dont want to deploy as ROOT, you need redirect root request to emc-dfs. How you do this is specific to weblogic?

FYI - we chose to deploy as ROOT at it worked as described.

In the 6.7 SP1 Install & Configuration Guide, page 14 refres to the below two URLs to be working fine post deployment of server.

then you can do that by updating the url-pattern in emc-dfs\WEB-INF\web.xml to the above.

But that will not guarantee you the working of My Document for Desktop correctly

I made a mistake ... I was trying to deploy the emc-dfs.war and fss.war files in Oracle Weblogic.

I changed to emc-dfs.ear and it worked.

After that I deployed fss-services.ear, but when I try to start the application it shows this error message in Oracle Weblogic 10.3 Console:

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.LocalStrings != com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.soap.LocalStrings

Errors were encountered while performing this operation."

Hi,

Kindly ensure the following.

1.Weblogic 10.3 server was not running on Win2008 Machine.

2.Java version should be 5.0.x for Oracle WebLogic Server 10g (10.3).

If possible provide the MDD client logs(fssmonitor.log, explorer.log)
