Pre-Requisites for Unique Number Forms Adaptor

Hi,

I am trying to install Unique Number Forms Adaptor on our environment. When I go to powerlink site, it says the following:

Pre-Requisites      •xCP installed.      •Custom Activity Templates xCelerator (Custom Activity Templates xCelerator) installed.

We have installed Process Engine and Process Builder in our environent recently. Do think it takes care of the Pre-Requisites? What else I need to check before I go for installation of Unique Number Forms Adaptor? Where exactly I need to install it? On Content server?

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

I deployed the following DAR files:

UniqueNumberFormsAdaptor.dar and
xCPActivityTemplatexCelerator.dar

I created the following number_sequence:

CREATE number_sequence OBJECT

SET object_name = 'ECR Number Sequence',

SET current_value = 1,

SET increment_amount = 1

;

First time I tried to loginto Forms Builder. I got the following error:

The user is not a form designer. Please check with your administrator for permissions.

I think I need to add the username to some group. I am trying to figure it out.

Do you remember?

Error message is pretty self-explanatory: "The user is not a form designer."

I added the username to forms_designer role and I could login now.

I tried to do the 2ns step: (I am following the Example under Unique Number Initializer Forms Adaptor in powerlink)

Step 2 - Create the AdaptorIn Forms Builder, open the Adaptor Configuration Manager, in Forms Builder, select File > Adaptors.

I am trying to enter the following values mentioned in the above 2nd step:

Adaptor type: Initializer
Name: HR Request Number
Class name: com.emc.xcelerator.forms.adaptor.initializer.UniqueNumberInitializerAdaptor
Type: SBO
number_sequence: HR Request Sequence
pattern: HR-0000-0000

I could not find the last two fileds (in blue above). Please see the attached screen where I am entering the above values.

Any clue?

When i click on Add against "Initial Parameter" box I got the 2nd attachment Initial Adoptor screen shot.

It looks it is not simple and straight forward.

Please any body who ever used "Unique Number Forms Adaptor" help me how can I use it to generate an automatic UNIQUE sequnce number that goes into a custom attribute of my custom type.
