Hi all,
What's the limit size of the JVM embedded in the JMS. Cause now, we have a full support of 64 Bit Os, is the JVM stil a 32 Bits wiith short size limit or it's a 64 bits with limit extended ?
Good week-end guys

The 64-bit distributions use a 64-bit JVM. You can tune it like you want as far as I know.
This is defined in the /jboss4.2.0/server/startMethodServer.sh (this is the case for a unix based installation)
#!/bin/shUSER_MEM_ARGS="-Xms256m -Xmx256m -XX:PermSize=64m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -Xss256k -XX:+DisableExplicitGC"export USER_MEM_ARGS/opt/documentum/shared/jboss4.2.0/bin/run.sh -c DctmServer_MethodServer -b 0.0.0.0 $JAVA_OPTIONS
Thank you Vadim, but i already know where i can configure it.
Do you know the MaxSize allowed ? Is it a 32 Bit JVM also on 64 Bits OS ?
Ok... Good point, thank you.
Bacham2, are you sure that the JVM is 64 Bit Version. In this case, is there any compatibility problem when developing method server or server side program with 32 Bits edition and installing it on 64 Bits edition ?

As long as you don't use JNI you should be fine.
Thanks a lot ! It makes sense for me !
Just try and it works fine!... Thanks a lot
