i have created a custom type "test_user" with supertype "dm_user". my question is how can i use the custom type "test_user" in DA when am creating a new user?

But before that, what is the purpose of this new type? what are you trying to acheive by creating a new type?

it is not straight forward. you have to customize the DA component.
