Hello Experts, I have created a sample data source adaptor one like shown in forms builder development guide. Please let me know what the problem is.

I can't understand why it is searching IDataSourceAdaptorService inside my package, com.sinam.library.customadaptors.datasourceadaptors.test, I have imported this in my adaptor class,

import com.documentum.xforms.engine.adaptor.datasource.IDataSourceAdaptorService;

but the sbo looks for the class inside the default package. Please let me know what the problem is.

Johnny I guess I am doing something wrong with packaging the adaptor.The problem is that I have just compiled a working xcelerator with a different named installed it into docbase.It did not work as well.

This is why I was asking to see your adaptor code. Using your adaptor configuration:

com.sinam.library.customadaptors.datasourceadaptors.test.IDataSourceAdaptorService

Your class should contain something like this:

package com.sinam.library.customadaptors.datasourceadaptors.test;

import com.documentum.xforms.engine.adaptor.datasource.IDataSourceAdaptor;

public class IDataSourceAdaptorService extends IDataSourceAdaptor

Yes the picture above is old, here is the new configuration.

So are you getting the same error? It should be able to find your adaptor.

If you are getting same error, have you restarted Forms Builder. It might be caching the adaptor definition.

Finally it worked, the problem was that the old template adaptor was there, I deleted it from the form and it started working.
