Name, location similar to other EAs

Is there a way of referencing the Name and Location entries in the file properties similar to how one would reference other EAs? Doing an iwextattr -l will not list these entries.

Do you mean "iwextattr"? What's your requirement, exactly? If you need to access this information through Perl you may want to use File::stat.

Name and Location are file properties and not EA's. You can only manipulate or view EA's using iwgetattr CLT tool.

I just realized -- are you referring to "iwattrib"? If so, you can get the name of the file this way and if you do iwattrib -l, it will show you a list of metadata you can retrieve this way.
