Opening documents from outside worksite

Hi,

We have a report which shows various documents and when a user wants to see the document we take the user to the worksite web to authenticate and then open the documents using the following url
"http://ServerName/WorkSite/scripts/redirector.aspx/nrtid=!nrtdms:0:!session:r{1}........................".

Now the problem is this works fine when the client uses Windows 2000 system but when he tries to do the same on Windows XP machine it stucks at the progress bar. The script error it shows is "Access denied". The document gets downloaded into the users temp directory and then it is unable to open in the native application.

Anybody please advise.

Are you able to open the same WorkSite document from within the Desktop Worksite Client, i.e., DeskSite or FileSite?

Is the associated PRF file present at the portable directory?

Yes it opens up the same document from Worksite and yes it downloads the file to the temp directory. It is unable to launch native applications in XP (it works in 2000). Thanks for replying.
