I have to get the value from the dcr and store in another hidden field.If the dcr value has single quote or double quote, my data are not showing properly.

Well, you are inserting the DCR values at a place where they become *tag* attributes
so, single quotes or double quotes in these values are going to create issues.
You can either educate the users to use proper values,
or
Use formapi to enforce validation.

Also .. use escape_html_data and unescape_html_data of CGI_lite module of teamsite. It takes care of all the special characters replacing it to entity codes.

So while escaping ..it replaces your single quote (') to '. I hope this resolves your problem a bit.

I don't believe that using their entity values displays properly in a form text box, for instance. It displays fine on a rendered page but "'" will display as just that in a form text box.

You could otherwise assign each to a variable and escape all single- and double-quotes and use those variables in your text box.

Try making the above changes and see if that helps (and yes, the whitespace before the end-double-quote is a VB formatting issue - not in the actual code
