Hi Experts,
I have a project which will replace client's several existing systems, which are written with Oracle Forms, by an integrated system with the implementation of Documentum xCP version 6.7.
My client, which will collect application forms from the public, and then approve the applications one by one.
It seems that Documentum xCP suits its case management nature.
However, we have requirements that the new integrated system should keep the existing features of the existing systems.
There are hundreds of Code Table Maintanenace/Parameter Setup/Business Calculator screens, which heavily depends on the data grid of Oracle Forms and programming logic to process the data input.
We consider the forms generated by Form Builder does not suit for the said screens, as the forms are not object-based as Document View / Folder Information forms.
Is it a good practises that we create many Custom WDK Components with clumsy code conversion works, and embed them as Tabs in Taskspace?
Best Regards,
Ivan
