Hello,

CreateFSE trigger gets invoked on creation of new DCR or on copy of DCR.

I need to execute some logic on copy DCR but not on create.
Is there any way to differentiate between two events(create and copy) which i use in my custom code.

OR

Is there any way to switch off the trigger on create of DCR but need to invoke the trigger on copy of DCR??

A copy is really just the creation of a new file that happens to contain the same contents as an already existing file - so there's no real difference to detect.

If you're working through the GUI - I suggest replacing the OOTB menu item for copy with a custom menu item in which you can do all the extra stuff you want to do.

If you're working through the file system or are trying to trap situations in which existing customizations are creating copies of files - you're basically out of luck (except in the latter case, your customizations can be augmented to do what you want)
