Delegate tasks to other user using java code

I'm using the user session in custom action java code to change in ”dm_user” table to delegate tasks to other user. I know the superuser privilege user will only update the Documentum dm_user table, any alternativ solutions to make me not use the superuser privilege.

Delegation of tasks has nothing to do with dm_user table.  Look at the IDfWorkitem.delete() method in DFC javadocs.  Also, you dont have to be superuser as long as the task/activity has been configured to allow delegation.
