Getting UCF Plugin Error after importing a document and clicking "Finish"

Hi,

A user gets gets a UCF Plugin Error after he tries to import a document into folder and clicks "Finish". I deleted the "Documentum" folder under the folder with the folder with name as his User ID. It did not resolve the issue. Next I am thinking on re-installing Java on his computer. If you know any other options, please post the same here. I wish you give me the steps.

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

What version of JRE does the user have installed with the browser? 1.6.0_27 is the latest certified to be used with Documentum web clients. I have seen problems when users allow Java to automatically update to the latest version.

Make sure you don't have JRE 1.6 updates between 19 and 23. included. As usually when Oracle gets something on board, they break it before getting it right

Yes, you both are correct. The user's computer has JRE 1.6 update 19 as well as update 25 when he has the UCF issue. Our tech guys installed update 29 (Sorry they could not get 27 due to some security reasons). Still the issue was not resolved. Then update 19 and 25 were deleted. The issue is resolved.

as far as I remember, 25 was working fine but 19 was bad
