Hyper link Custom Type

I am new to Documentum, I am looking in all the custom types in DA. Some of the custom types have hyper link and some of them don't. My initial thought was that hyperlinks are the one that have attribute of some other custom type. But when I import custom types into composer, I don't see that relationship.

I see that you are talking abt the navigation in DA in the Types section.

When a type is of hyperlink form, then it means, it has a sub type. When you click on the hyperlink it will display the sub-types. (if the sub-types also have sub-types, they would display as hyperlinks).

What you mean by not seeing relationship in composer? When you import a type, it's sub-types wont be imported and vice-versa.
