Workflow AutoActivity Issue

Hi Everybody

I have 3 Activity in my template .

Start ----> Activity 1 (Performer -A) -----> Activity 2 (Performer ------AutoActivity 1 (Performer : Workflow Supervisor,Method Operation - WorkflowCompletion)-----> End

When i am in Activity 2 (Performer its displaying the next performer as Workflow Initiator. But our actual requirement is it should display the next performer as a Performer B. When i choose the AutoActivity Performer as B for the Method Operation : Workflow Completion its get failed...Same when i am choosing as workflow supervisor its working fine...

My doubt here is Performer B cant complete the AutoActivity for the method operation - WorkflowCompleted ? Only Workflow Supervisor can do it ?

Performer B User Priviliges is "Contributor"

Please help me in this.Thanks in advance.......

What are you doing in the autoactivity? Usually, when one user account works and another one doesnt, its b/c the permissions (ACL) on the workflow attachment is not set correctly to support the actions you want to perform.

Thanks for your reply.. My question here is whether only "Workflow Supervisor" can completes the "WorkflowCompletion" in Autoactivity method ? If yes may i know the what permission required to complete the workflow ?

No. Anyone can complete task as long as they are assigned the task. Autoactivity can fail for many reasons, which is why I asked what are you doing in the auto activity.

In AutoActivity , i am performing the method opeartion as "WorkflowCompletion" method(Out of the Box) , This is to send a completion of mail notification to the "Webtop Inbox".I am using Process Builder 6.0.

When I typically use out of the box workflow methods, unless there is a specific reason to have a specific user perform the activity, I typicall set the performer to Docbase Owner to avoid any permissions issue.

I cant tell you why User B is failing without knowing exacting what the code does.

yes you are right.. Here we are not using any customiztion for this stuff (No code here)... Just it would be helpfull to know the product behaviour

BTW - 6.0 is no longer officially supported, so I dont how its supposed to work and whether there was a bug with this method or not.
