Migration of Generated Pages from One teamsite Machine to another

Hi,

I Copied all my generated aspx files from one teamsite machine to another teamsite machine.

I set the extended attributes for Generated pages as below

TeamSite/Templating/Encoding:
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR: 20060330181915.xml
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDocumentType: About us/Aboutus_Level1
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT: aboutus_level1.tpl

For dcr xml files

i set the extended attributes as below

TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type: About us/Aboutus_Level1

but still my generated pages when clicked thro i am getting the page not found error .Do i need to set any other things in the extended attributes.

Do you really have a space in your category name ("About us")?
Did you use the same structure for your workarea on the new server (templatedata/About us/Aboutus_Level1/data/...) for the DCR?
Did you configure templating.cfg correctly on the new server?

Yes I have space in my category name and i am using the same structure as my previous machine
My templating.cfg is correct and similar to the one on the old Interwoven Machine.

I clicked my Generated pages from the new Interwoven machine which are the generated pages from my previous machine.It simply display http 404 error in the browser.i am getting this one after setting the exteneded.

Oh - that's because you don't have your "customer web server" installed / configured. TeamSite is trying to send the page for previewing to a webserver running on the TeamSite host (on Windows this is usually IIS).

In short - it sounds like someone missed a step in setting up your new server.

Now i m getting error like

Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

This happens only for my aspx and asp pages but not for html

If html is working fine, and the issue is only with aspx and asp pages then again the issue is with configuration of web server. Please verify that .Net Framerwork is installed and configured on your webserver. Make sure that Aspx, asp works individually (outside the TeamSite world) by creating a sample web with aspx, asp pages.

we tried running the aspx on the same box by creeting website in IIS and it works....it just doesnt work when we try to plant into teamsite.. Smiley Sad
