Are you are referring to Test files when creating a recognizer or classifier?

Test files, referenced or embedded in the node attributes, are used only by the Evaluate Test. Test files in these cases are merely files that you associate with the appropriate label (node) they should match if MetaTagger were to be executed on the files. Once you give MetaTagger some test files you can run the Evaluate Test in MTStudio and it will report to you how well it performed based on your pre-execution test files.
