iwodstart waits for other

If I run 2 DD deployments specifying 2 different DD configs to 2 separate databases the one seems to wait for the other to finish before the first one starts. Is this true? Is there a configuration setting or something? Does it have anything to do with the OD console because they both show up there?

iwodstart.bat ddeploy\ddd\dd_general_content_test_QA_ -k iwdd=general_content -k edition="/default/main/other/WORKAREA/ALL" -k filelist="D:\tshome\tmp\\QA_filelist.txt"

and consider yourself lucky that the second one waits, in OD 5.5 if you ran 2 at once without the
-inst switch, the second would fail.

would this (your comment) apply only to DD 5.5?

We have DD 5.6 (beside TS 6.1) and from what I have seen, we don't hit this errors - even though we get these multiple DD deployment actions executing in parallel (sometimes).

Am I missing something here?
