Hi,

The image on the form I designed is shown as broken after the form is installed and tried to create an instance of it using File -> New -> Form in Webtop. This for is designed using Forms Builder 6.7. How can I fix this issue so that I get the image while creating instances for the form template? sagar.singh in the forums advised me to give proper dimensions to the image. I did several times by trial and error, but it did not resolve my issue. Also I tried attaching the image from my local machine as well as from docbase. Either way my issue is not resolved.

Please share your knowledge and experiences for figuring this out.

When viewing the instance of the form take a look at the source to see if it has anything in it about where the image is coming from and why the link might not be working

When I right click on the broken image I do not get "View Source". Please see the attachment. Then how can I see where from is coming? When clicked on properties I see the URL Address on the APP Server (Tomcat). Please see the 2nd image in the attachment.

Note: When I do right click on the instance of the form in a folder in our docbase, I am not getting any options at all. I meam I am not getting the right-click-window.

Please advise me.

The url points to a docid - if you query the repository for that dm_document by r_object_id what do you get?

if there is no such document you may need to revist the form design and see where you placed the image from.

You are right. The docid is the object ID of the PNG image file which I configured to the 'image' control on the form, but that image is not coming after creating the instance of the form template. Why is that? How can I fix this issue?

Note: I also tried by attaching JPEG and GIF images too. Still it did not work.

Note: I noticed that image comes up when I use Mizilla Fire Fox (that means my issue will be resolved if I use Mozilla Fire Fox Browse, but as per our company's policy we need to use IE). It is the issue with my IE8. I cleared the brwoser cache also used IE* in Compatibility View, but still problem exists with IE8.

Please advise me.
