Select box value

On my dct i am setting the default value of date in select box ( using FormApi).
On formSave i am reading the select box value.
It is printing one vale more for each of the item day ,month and year for the first time,and when
i am chosing some other value and clicking on save ,then it is printing right values.
I mean for the first time it is not printing properly,for further it is working fine.
Pls suggest me what and where cud be the problem??

Nidhi,

What i can think out of this issue.. is you are setting your date values ranging from 1 to 12 for months.... whereas the select box will take values ranging from 0 to 11. Same rule applies to date and year as well.

Please check and revert if this the case you have.

Thanks Achin.I was taking consideration of array ranging.But was problem in creating a new node of array and
then replacing with the older node .Now i hv replaced that with some another logic.
Now it is working fine.
