Please help.
Are both the webtop instances pointing to the same repository?
have you set any app server parameter for the 6.5 instance? if yes, make sure to include that in the new instance also.
Is the navigation slow always or only the first time?
-karthik
- Yes both the instance pointing to same docbase but only one at particular time. istop the other while starting other.
- app server parameters are same for all.
- navigation slow is everytime and for all the user.
the isssue is it is fast up to 5-6 subfolder level, after that it will be slowing down as we go deep.
Are there too many folders as you navigate deeper? Set the SHOW ITEMS to 10 while you are in the first level and navigate deeper and see if you face issue.
Any messages or errors you see in the app server logs? did you compare the parameters?
there are 1- 2 subfolders still this happwns.i got these errors in app server.

Is the CS also upgraded to 6.6? Did you install the latest DARs during upgrade?
If the above was done, clean the cache in the tomcat. Also, verify the global registry settings in the new app instance.
no CS is not upgraded it is the old one.and about the errors , in old webtop (6.5 SP1 )same error comes but the browsing folder is slow.
Personally, I'd skip 6.6 all together, it was indeed slow. I'd jump to 6.7 which is much faster if possible
DFC trace your application and find out what is causing the slowness.
