Concurrent Session Limits on Servers

Good Afternoon,

All documentum servers have a limit of the number of concurrent sessions that can be accommodated depending on the OS in use. In our example, AIX has a limit of 1022.

The questions is, if you were to deploy a second content server on the SAME host does the mean the limit is raised by another 1022 to 2044, 1022 for each server?

Actually, for AIX limit is 1637 (I wrote some investigations in my blog).

Technically, yes. But the problem is that there is no guarantee that your clients will be distributed evenly between CS instances.
