Localizing Templates

Dear Experts,

I am working on Localizing a form template to Arabic language but I have two issues, First suppose there is a drop down list on the form level showing the list of users in English and after localizing the template into Arabic, I applied a new Adaptor on the same list to show the list of users in Arabic But After I login into Taskspace using Arabic and English language, I found that only one adaptor is applied. So How can I do it and Is it possible or not.

Second suppose I have a text field has an initial value in English, After localizing the template I want to change this value to Arabic. But also After I login into Taskspace using Arabic and English language, I found that last applied value is shown. So How can I do it and Is it possible or not.

Please help me to fix these issues because it is urgent for our project.

You may have to create two separate adaptors, since the adaptor may not know the language version of the form that is calling it. English form calls english adaptor; likewise, Arabic form calls arabic adaptor.

The second use case should be fully supported out of the box. You may have to create two versions forms (one for English and one for Arabic).

I already have created two separate adaptors one to show the english list and the other to show the arabic list but the problem occurs at the time of applying the adaptor, The last applied one is the shown one in WDK applications.

Same problem occurs for the default value and for the font, Last applied one is the shown one.

Do you set the locale in your WDK application explicitly?

Yes, I set the locale in my WDK application first before working on localizing the template.

I mean when a person logs into your application. Do you have separate web apps or do you let the user choose the locale?

When a person logs into application, We let him choose the locale.

Have you tried creating two separate forms?

No I didn't try to create two separate forms, I wanna make use of Forms Builder functionality. I think if I create two forms, there will be no need forLocalizing the template. I will create one form English and one Arabic and each one has its own adaptors and fonts, etc.

I was only suggesting this to isolate the issue as locale issue. If you can prove that the two forms works with two adaptors, then to me this is a bug with locale feature and you should be able to get EMC Support to confirm this rather quickly.
