Edit Work Group in WorkSite MP

Hello.

How do we Edit/Update the members list of already created Work Group ? i.e.

For a Collaboration Space had already created the Work Group with members assigned initially. Users worked & utilised collaboration space. Later needed to add more members & want to manage there security , access by utilising the same work group. Am attempting to make this via Admin user, but NOT allowing even Admin user !!

Please do explain in detail.

You have crossed up accounts and or security policies.

The workspace own can always do it. Administrators only can if they are in a workgroup with the Manage Security Policies option set.

Initially this WorkGroup was created w/o Admin as a member of it considering Admin as a owner of every child having FULL CONTROL on/in its hierarchy objects which is being created by it.
But When this Workgroup was NOT editable even by the list of members assigned to it ( b'se they were NOT provided with ANY MANAGE SECURITY POLICIES ....... ), tried to add Admin as a space member to list and could NOT get Admin edit this workgroup either.

We understand that this be solved by having Admin in Workgroup with Manage Security Policy set. But this is NOT the case for now, then how do i manage this issue ? Why do Admin NEED to be in a Workgroup IF Admin owns it by default ?

Please do guide with alternative way for resolving this issue.
