Issue with opening a Document in Webtop : class com.documentum.web.contentxfer.ucf.UcfSessionManager

Hi All,

             One of my users id getting an exception :

         class com.documentum.web.contentxfer.ucf.UcfSessionManager$ClientException.

These are my client system spcecifications:

Webtop version :  5.3.0.317

java version :  1.7.0_05

Windows 7 system

This seems to be an UCF exception.As per the post on powerlink ,I made the following changes to the clients local system:

1. unchecking in the Java Control Panel the option for 'Enable the next generation Java Plug-In'

2. clearing Java cache

3. temp files

4.deleting UCF folders

5.deleting EMC certificate

6.cleaning IE cache

7.restarting the browser

When this does not work ...I tried doing this...

Enable (in file C:\Documents and Settings\{USERNAME}\Documentum\ucf\{MACHINENAME}\shared\config\ucf.client.config.xml) and then check UCF logs. Also check Webtop app server logs. But to my surprise I did not find the config files genrated in the said location under Users/${user_name}/Docuemntum/ucf or Users/${user_name}/Docuemntum/ucf-java.

Also the user has admin rights on his system.

Please suggest something....Its urgent..

What do you expect, You use a 5 years old version of Webtop with a couple of months old of Java. this is absolutely not supported
