DFS Custom Services question

Sorry for this, most likely, newbie question

I'm creating a couple of custom services that will in turn need to access some of the OOB DFS services (core mainly).

Is it possible to add my services to the out of the box DFS deployment (from the SDK) and repackage the whole stuff together ? and if yes, any pointers ?

Whilst it is possible, it would be a heavy bout of customisation to do it.

Best to create the custom service and either locally call DFS/DFC embedded in the custom service or chain to another DFS instance.

Given that you would want the URLs, generally, to be 'different' deploying 2 ear/war files isn't normally a problem.
