Question regarding to IDfCopyOperation

Hello Experts,

I need your help on using IDfCopyOperation for multiple docbases. I can do this easily if a user exist in the target docbase with the same user name and password in both source and target docbase. But how can I do the same  for different user?

I guess I have found the solution, .

First I create a loginInfo object and set user password for first user. Then create  a session. Then I update the login info object and create a peer session. And it works .

DfClientX clientx = new DfClientX();

IDfClient client = clientx.getLocalClient();

IDfSessionManager sessionMgr = client.newSessionManager();

IDfLoginInfo loginInfo = clientx.getLoginInfo();






String userName="imran";

String password="1";

String docbaseName="esd";

loginInfo.setUser(userName);

loginInfo.setPassword(password);

sessionMgr.setIdentity(docbaseName, loginInfo);

IDfSession session1=sessionMgr.getSession(docbaseName);




//Here I make the trick modify the login info obj and set a new user cridentitals

userName="elkhan";

password="2";

docbaseName="CBAR";

loginInfo.setUser(userName);

loginInfo.setPassword(password);

sessionMgr.setIdentity(docbaseName, loginInfo);
//Here I get a session for both docbase

IDfSession peer=session1.getSessionManager().getSession(docbaseName);




//And this works without any problems where sysObj1 locates in one docbase and sysObj2 in onother

IDfSysObject sysObj1=(IDfSysObject) peer.getObject(new DfId("0900000c800570b1"));

IDfSysObject sysObj2=(IDfSysObject) peer.getObject(new DfId("0c000001800061e3"));

System.out.println(sysObj1.getObjectName()+"   "+sysObj2.getObjectName());

And the copy operation works without any problems as well. None of the users are super users and the docbases are on different hosts.

Just have to make some test and find out whether everything is ok.

Do you think that there could be any issues?
