we are heading towards upgrading our content server from 6.5 SP3 to 6.7 . my question is which service pack is stable in documentum 6.7 ?
6.7 SP1 is the CURRENT version available to download.
I heard many forum members having issues with 6.7 SP1 and moved back to 6.7 JMS . ( Including you ) .
So do you suggest to step into 6.7 and then think of service packs later ?
Depends on whether you are looking to use some of the new features that are in SP1. New xplore ver and stateless process engine. Also support for IE9.

so Sp1 supports IE 9 ? so we need it since we are moving towards windows 7.

Yes, IE9 is certified with SP1. Stateless process engine allows you to execute multiple automatic activities (ie server methods) in single transaction. Speeds up the execution of workflow automatic activities significantly.
There have also been numerous patches that have been released after SP1 was released. So depending on your issue, these patches may have already addressed them.
IE9 and Fast workflow processing is the top key items we were looking for .
