Software compatibility with TS

Hi all,

Our system department installed one software (Rightnow i don't remember the name) on TS server . And after the installation the Y:/ drive was not accessible and it was showing a sa local disk.Although teamsite services were up, iw-mount and default under IIS default website were down.
We couldn't understand the logic behind and this and the best possible solution came into our mind was to uninstall this software and we did that.
After uninstallation Y;/ drive came as a virtual and everything was in place.

TeamSite is essentially a software that will not work with other large applications installed on the same box. You should contact IWOV support to find out whether the software (that you even don't know, but will need to, before logging a call) clashes with TeamSite.

Pupose: To take the image of TS server.

Part of Error Log in iwtrace.log ::

Now my iw-mount is corrupt and Y drive is showing as a local drive. One solution is to uninstall the software which in effect restore the Y:/ drive.
If i don't want to uninstall the software then is there any other way to restore my iw-mount(Y:/ drive).

You are having problems even after uninstalling the LiveState software?

If your backing store is corrupt, re-installing TS won't help - unless you don't care about the data.

I would suggest you work with support for backing store corruption issues.

For DrvUnMountDevice error - I have seen this when unmounting Y: while some files are locked (by IIS). A solution for this issue would be to stop IIS before stopping TS.

Hi,
After uninstallation everything on teamsit eworks fine as before.So no problem with Teamsite Store.But as soon as i install this software my IFS Volume(Y) turns into Local Disk(Y).
Any suggestions ??
