search tab in taskspace

i want your opinion on how to create a search tab in Taskspace to search the documents that i have created

as far as I recall, this is covered in the turorial as well in the Developer guide. Have you been taking a look there?

i have folowwed the tuto on the developer guide and when am connecting to taskspace, am getting the following error

An error occurred while creating a folder tab.

You must select at least one model of the search form.

Did you select an object type when you tried to create the search form?

yes i did select a custom object type derived from dm_document

In search tab

for that you need to create search template using forms builder for your custom type

Step1.Creating a Search Template

Step2:

Create  the search tab

1. On the Tabs pane, click Create. The Create Tab dialog box opens.

2. On the Create Tab dialog box, select Search from the Select Tab Type list box and click Next.

The Tab Configuration — Search dialog box appears.

In the Name field, type search_custom and in the Label field type Search . In the

Available search templates pane select the custom template which u create in form builder and use the

arrow to move it to the Selected search templates pane. Click Next.

4. Select Display standard tab actions and click Finish.

your search tab is coplete

now add that to particular roles

Hi HMM,

Please install the search template which you created in forms builder then you will no more see that error.
