Help with Webtop customization

Hi All,

I am very new to Documentum. Currently i am working on Documentum 6.6. I am looking forward to learn webtop customizations. could any one please guide me on how to write a Hello WDK World program. To be move specific I want to customize webtop to include a "Hello World" Menu item in FILE menu and do some action when the "Hello world" menu item is clicked.

It would be great help if someone could breif me what all file need to be created/modified for this in what locations/paths.

If you haven't already, take a look at the EMC Documentum Web Development Kit Tutorial. It includes a "Hello Webtop" chapter which may be just what you need.
