Date Format in Advanced Search Build Query

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where all the custom attributes of all types (string,boolean,date) should be displayed in a single dropdown list in advanced search page.

So i have removed excludetypes='time' in <dmfxs:searchattributegroup> in advsearchex.jsp page so that the date attributes are also displayed in the Document Properties dropdown list.

The date control is getting properly displayed for the user to select the date. The date is displayed in "MM/DD/YYYY" format when the user selects a date value. We want only the date to be searched and not the date with time. But the system by default takes the value as "MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss" format while searching. We confirmed this by retrieving the values from IDfQueryBuilder in buildQuery() method.

But this is not happening for the date controls given separately <dmfxs:searchdateattribute> in the advsearchex.jsp page.

Any idea how do we restrict the date format to search only for "MM/DD/YYYY" as date string.
