incorrect Doc dates

Someone please help. I'm trying to write an application to clear out documents from a folder called 'Recycle Bin' where the edit date and profile edit date are less than one month ago. It seems that the dates returned from the docmaster table are not contiguous with those being displayed by via the API.

Firstly the naming is different. I'm assuming that the;

EditWhen named in the docmaster table is the EditDate in the iManDocument object
EntryWhen is the CreationDate
EditProfileWhen is the EditProfileTime

Secondly the date formats are different;

EditWhen = 2005-11-25 21:48:27.000 |.editdate returns: 25/11/2005
EntryWhen = 2005-11-25 21:48:24.000 |.creationdate returns: 25/11/2005 21:48:24
EditProfileWhen = 2005-11-25 21:48:24.000 | .EditProfileTime returns 25/11/2005

Thirdly the EditProfileTime parameter returns the EditWhen time.

Can someone shed some light on this?
