Need Read Access to All Objects Inside the Repository

Hi iam using content server 5.2.5 so i am not able to add user to dm_read_all group,

could you please nay one let me know how to get read access on all objects inside the repository, instead of manually adding user to all ACL's inside the docbase.

If it is for all users you could look to give dm_world read access to all documents all users can access. If it is a subset of users then you'd have to update each ACL with the correct users/groups. If the latter then create you own read access group and add this to all ACLs and then updates after the first go is a simple matter of maintaining that group

instead of manually updating each and every ACL, write a DFC method that will add this read only user group to tha ACLs. Refer IDfACL API and you will get an idea on how to do it. And please be careful, while selecting all the ACLs for the update through DFC.
