i have requirement that i need to change the default objecttype based on the user group. If user belogns to perticuler group,then need to change the default object type while import.
Please any body tell the solution for that.
Look at Preset feature. You can define rules for object type per group/role.
Actually i already used to display only custom objecttypes using presets, but i have different groups and login user is belongs to any one of those groups, so i need to configure that based on group i need to display a default object type.
I dont follow. Please provide an example.
for example i have assigned to 'custom_group' and i login to webtop i am trying to import a document. when i open the import component by default 'custom_type' will be selected in the same way if another user login based on the group default type will be displayed.
Did you select "custom_group" when you created the preset for "custom_type" import?
