Configuring Documentum DR solution

Hello Experts,

Can anyone suggest me what is the best low cost HA, DR solution for Documentum.

We have two physical servers located in different geographic locations.The distance between the two host's is less than 60 km.In addition to DR the primary site must fail over to DR site in minutes.  We use oracle as database server but implementing active active oracle rac will cost too much for the project. Do you have any suggestions? Are there any emc tools that will let me to achieve this and cost less.

    We don't have any ideas. We have HP storage and oracle database.

    Possibly we will use their functionality. But I want to know if there is a specific tool for documentum.

    I am unaware of any specific Documentum tool that does DR.  I have heard EMC Networker mentioned before, but I dont remember the context and how "low" cost it would be.

    Have you looked at robocopy?  A customer of mine used to use this a low cost backup solution (ie copy database and filestore to another server, assuming everything was shutdown).

    Johnny thank you very much for the information. I will read about them and see if they are appropriate for our requirements. Specially I am interested in networker.

    Oracle has ootb feature - standby, the cost depends on edition used and efforts required to maintenance - consult your DBA. For content replication take a look at your vendor solution (http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/software/replication/index.html) or Veritas (https://www.symantec.com/replicator)
