DoMethod: Failed to validate digital signature: null - How to fix?

Hi!

I am operating two content server instances serving the same repository (both 6.7. SP1 Patch01). In the ServerApps.log I just found the following errors:

Content-Server #1:

ERROR [http-0.0.0.0-9080-1] com.documentum.mthdservlet.DoMethod - Failed to verify digital signature: No public key found for docbase MyDocbase

Content-Server #2:

ERROR [http-0.0.0.0-9080-2] com.documentum.mthdservlet.DoMethod - Failed to validate digital signature: null

...this line is constantly repeated.

So far the errors make sense, since I didnt configure a signature/certificate because I dont need any. But how can I tell the software to stop trying to validate the non-existing signature?

No, nothing yet.

The EMC support suggested

Install latest CS patch.
dfc.keystore can be corrupted. Backup dfc.keystore, delete dfc.keystore and restart CS to get new one created.
Check dockbrokers configuration and remove inactive

But it didnt solve the problem.

Can you pleae find out the whether certificate is available or not using following dql

Select * from dm_public_key_certificate where key_type = 1 and FOLDER('/System/Cryptographic/Keys')

Thanks for your reply - but I guess there's no solution to this error. According to the EMC support it's a bug and I should ignore it. As long as the entries in the log file are the only thing that's unusual, I'm happy to ignore them
